Van Nuys, CA; December 16, 2013: This is the tragedy of a widowed, deaf and mute woman who is currently 100 years of age, living with her daughter and is looking for her son who was taken away from her as soon as he was born. The incident took place in Detroit, in a Negro hospital that no longer exists, where the child was taken away from the deaf and mute couple right after his birth. The woman holds the doctor responsible for the crime, accusing him of taking away her baby for reasons unknown.
The case is now handled by Nick Harris Detectives, who are trying to do everything within their power to help the poor woman find her son. The most difficult part of it is that they have absolutely no idea of where the child could be, or even if he even knows that he was taken as a baby. All that is there are the old time photographs of the family and one can only check for family resemblance and later take a DNA test if the face is anywhere close to the parent’s.
Another fact about the parents is that the father was a White and the mother was Black, making the search easier. He is a 70 year old biracial man, it is a rarity to find such men as such marriages were a rarity at the time. It is a case that can use as much help and publicity as possible as it is one of a kind. The sister is not leaving any stone unturned in finding the man or any reference to his current family or friends as she wants her mother to see her son before she passes away.
