MIAMI – May 27, 2014 – Living Color Aquariums (www.livingcolor.com), the global industry leader in the design and manufacturing of iconic custom aquariums and themed exhibits, is proud to introduce new one-of-a-kind aquariums atthe Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal, Hershey Park and PB Catch Restaurant.

The Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal (http://www.cincymuseum.org) will house a custom-built Living Color aquarium, featuring a “mouse-hole” crawl-in tunnel, where visitors immerse themselves within 2,000 gallons of luxuriant multi-colored tropical fish and artificial coral reefs. The tropical habitat measures 15 feet in length by 5 feet in height and provides a fantastic photo opportunity as visitors will appear to be inside the aquarium with the inset crawl-in tunnel, without any underwater breathing apparatus.

“The Cincinnati Union Terminal is one of the last iconic trains stations to ever be built in the US and has become an historic symbol of Cincinnati,” said Mat Roy, president of Living Color Aquariums and star of Nat Geo WILD’s “Fish Tank Kings.” “As such, we at Living Color Aquariums are honored to create and build a unique custom aquarium that will become another top attraction for the museum’s illustrious history.”

Living Color Aquariums has teamed up with Hershey Park (http://www.hersheypark.com) designers, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania to develop a specially made fully interactive aquarium habitat at Hershey Park. Designed and modeled to appear as a life-size replica of a Jolly Rancher candy, this 233 gallon aquarium features an assortment of colorfully lit jolly rancher LED light inserts that light up on command. Visitors can actively engage with the aquarium’s exotic salt water fish via two exterior buttons. One button turns on the jolly rancher lights and the other creates bubbles within the aquarium habitat.

In pursuit of the ultimate challenge, Living Color Aquariums is designing and installing a custom Lion Fish aquarium habitat for Palm Beach, Florida’s popular upscale PB Catch Restaurant (http://www.pbcatch.com). The restaurant’s interior design is inspired by a yacht concept. The atmosphere invites patrons to experience what it’s like to elegantly dine while traveling at sea. Living Color Aquariums embraced this concept and brought the sea life onboard by creating a 275 gallon aquarium, fitted with translucent bamboo sculptures and coral reefs. LED lights were then placed within the translucent bamboo shoots and coral to create an extraordinary multicolored ambiance that captivates patrons of PB Catch Restaurant.
