Jay Ford is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of identifying and solidifying strategic alliance partners, building new markets and setting clear direction for complex market opportunities.

Rochester, MN -- LiquidCool Solutions, Inc., an applied R&D company with an extensive patent portfolio related to total submersion and directed-flow technology for electronics, announced today that Quentin Jay Ford has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Ford is responsible for the company’s new market development and growth strategy while reporting to CEO Herb Zien.

Ford’s hire comes at a pivotal time for LCS, which recently was awarded the Frost & Sullivan 2013 North America Customer Value Enhancement Award in Data Center Cooling and deemed the best for cost-savings, environmental conscientiousness, ease of service, and demonstrated reliability. The company currently has sixteen issued and twenty-four pending patents related to liquid cooling, making it possible to cool any device in any environment.

"LiquidCool has ambitious plans for leveraging the advantages of our technology for enabling a broad range of unique applications not possible with any other air or liquid cooling systems," said Zien. "Jay is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of identifying and solidifying strategic alliance partners, building new markets and setting clear direction for complex market opportunities. We are very much looking forward to his contributions."

Ford has over twenty years of sales and marketing experience in telecom and data communications, data center energy conservation and strategic alliances. Most recently, he was vice president of worldwide sales for CoolIT, a company that manufactures cold plate systems for cooling processor chips.

Ford says that he was immediately impressed with LiquidCool Solutions. "The worldwide ubiquity of LiquidCool’s technology is extremely attractive for me, but the team is what cinched it," he said. "The company has a clear direction and a great foundation from which to further develop and innovate. I am thrilled to have joined the company and its very talented team, all of who are very genuine and great to work with. I look forward to building on the company's successes."

Ford earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University, specializing in Operations Management and a minor in Industrial Psychology.
