Lexicon Reading Centre, is a Dubai-based learning center that helps differently-enabled children realize their true potential. Lexicon Reading Center now joins hands with the inventor of Mind Mapping – Tony Buzan, for a Workshop on Mind Maps for the first-time ever in the region. The event will be held at Rashid Medical Library Auditorium, Rashid Hospital, Dubai, UAE on Sunday, 17-Mar-2013.
This workshop will help students with dyslexia and dysgraphia learn and remember better.
It specifically focuses on techniques for students with reading and writing difficulties and memory challenges to cope with studies.
The workshop will show parents and educators of differently-enabled children, how Mind Maps are an absolute necessity for such students and how they can utilize them to effectively achieve their potential.
Tony Buzan, being known as the inventor of the "Swiss Army Knife of the Brain", is an internationally renowned expert on thinking processes, creativity and innovation. He is the world's foremost expert in mental literacy. He has been named as one of the world's top 5 speakers by Forbes Magazine. He has also written over 100 bestselling books on the subject.
Mind Maps are a visual representation of data. The concept of mind mapping is used by an estimated 250 million people across the globe. Mind Maps are useful in solving complex problems, creating structures and, most importantly, support memory.
With this workshop, Lexicon Reading Centre contributes to making learning easier for children with Dyslexia and Dsygraphia.
