Travel To Go Continues Community Involvement And Charitable Contributions

Travel To Go, a leading provider of travel services and vacation club products, actively uses its involvement in the travel industry to make dreams come true through continued community involvement and charitable contributions.

Realizing that the foundation for a productive community stems from involvement, the San Diego based travel club proudly supports non-profit organizations and other good causes by participating in local and regional charitable projects and events. Various organizations such as Send Me On Vacation, Wounded Warrior Project, Royal Family KIDS, Almanac Trail Concert Tour, C.A.R.E, the San Diego Muscular Dystrophy Association, Memorial Walk at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, and the YWCA have benefited from Travel To Go’s participation and donations.

In May of this year, Travel To Go was a top sponsor at the first annual Royal Family KIDS Golf tournament, which raised money to help provide summer camps and mentoring programs for children ages 6-12 that are in foster care. In addition to its sponsorship, Travel To Go donated a vacation to the silent auction held at a charity dinner after the tournament. Proceeds from the tournament helped fund a week of summer camp for over 7000 kids.

The family owned travel club’s involvement with Send Me On Vacation is constant as Travel To Go President and CEO, Jeanette Bunn was recently named Co-President of the non-profit organization, which provides much needed vacations to women with cancer who have undergone treatment. Since the reaction to treatments can have devastating effects upon the victims, their families and friends, SMOV works diligently to provide survivors with well-deserved vacations to provide a place where cancer survivors can go to rejuvenate and heal their bodies, mind and spirit.

Additionally, Jeanette Bunn is also heavily involved with C.A.R.E., a non-profit association comprised of resort developers and service companies, property management firms, homeowners associations, rental and exchange organizations and travel clubs. As Vice President of C.A.R.E. and Co-Chair of the C.A.R.E. Marketing Committee, she and Travel To Go helped plan the Silent/Live Auction and Super Raffle, raising over $21,000 during the last conference and have collectively helped raise over $175,000 for C.A.R.E. during Bunn’s tenure as Co-Chair of Marketing/Revenue Generation Committee.

Coming up later this fall, Travel To Go will sponsor the Kern River Rock & Bluesfest in Kernville, California to honor fallen veterans.

Travel To Go is committed to continuing its community involvement and charitable contributions to deserving projects and organizations throughout San Diego and the South West. For more information, please visit www.traveltogo.com
