Traindrive Training Services, an approved Periodic CPC training provider wants to alert any drivers who have obtained an LGV license before September 2009 about the impending CPC training deadline in September 2014. It has been instructed that to avoid inconvenience, loosing employment or risking a fine, drivers and their employers must comply and earn their CPC at the earliest. “By September 2014, any driver who obtained an LGV license before September 2009 and who uses their license commercially (including any vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5T or more) needs to complete 35 hours compulsory Periodic CPC Training. Without completing the Driver CPC by the deadline, you will not legally be entitled to work and you AND your employer risks a hefty fine.”
To help drivers acquire their CPC training Qualification Traindrive Training Services have scheduled Periodic CPC training sessions in Kent UK. The Traindrive Periodic CPC course fee is £60 + VAT + DVLA upload fee £8.75 and the sessions will be held in the purpose built classrooms of the Driver CPC training Centre. “The 35 hours can be split into 5 x 7 hour sessions. There are no exams to pass; courses are based on attendance only. On completion of the 35 hours the DSA will send you a Drivers Qualification Card (DQC). This is included in the cost of your course. In the meantime, you will receive an attendance certificate for each 7 hour session you attend.”
