Dr. Luke Brewton has won the honor of Eugene Magazine’s Top Doctors for Fall 2013. As part of the magazine’s third Top Doctor and Dentist survey, Dr. Brewton, who is a part of PeaceHealth Behavioral Science’s Unit, was voted by over 900 of his peers as a doctor “whom they would refer their loved ones to if they were sick,” the magazine’s website states.
Dr. Brewton sees his role at PeaceHealth as delivering compassionate and evidence-based mental health care to children and adolescents. He provides both psychotherapy and medication management, specializing in both anxiety and depression.
After graduating Cum Laude from New York University in Neural Science, Dr. Brewton received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas. He then spent five years studying post-graduate training in Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico, with two years spent in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and his final year as the Chief Fellow of Child Psychiatry.
With his specialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Brewton is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry. This award from Eugene Magazine allows Dr. Brewton to demonstrate something that is equally important: the respect and admiration of his peers in the Eugene area.
