New Delhi, 20 February, 2014: Srithai Superware, the world’s largest and most trusted company in 100% melamine tableware is now set to commence its operations from India. The first manufacturing plant of the company will be set up in Sanand industrial Estate, near Ahmedabad, in Gujrat. The factory will commence operation in 2015. The Indian plant is a 100% Srithai Superware subsidiary and investment. Start up investment of 300 mill Bahts / 9.2 mill US$ / 57 crore INR. Total investment for setting up four plants in the next 10 years will be 1.2 bill Bahts / 37 mill US$ / 229 crore INR.
As part of its growth strategy, Srithai Superware India intends to delve deeper into India’s smaller cities and towns by having a varied price range to suit all pockets. The company also plans to export the products to neighbouring/South-Asian countries, once the manufacturing unit is operational.
The 100% Melamine products are chip, crack and break resistant along with being stain and fade resistant. They are also hygienic and safe for consumers and are specially designed to suit the Indian customers liking.
