BOSTON -- On May 21, 2013, Endure to Cure Pediatric Cancer Foundation Founder and President, Jason Sissel will board a flight to San Diego to begin his 3600 Miles Of Miracles Tour, a self-supported bike ride across the USA in an effort to raise funds which will create “Small Miracles” for children with cancer on behalf of Endure to Cure. E2C’s Small Miracles grant program is designed to provide children in treatment programs with some small luxuries to help them get through the brutal treatments. Sissel hopes to raise $15,000 towards this program with a focus on children in New England area hospitals.
Sissel will be joined on the ride by 3 other cyclists, 2 from Italy, 1 from Mexico; all 3 are professional ultra-endurance athletes. Beginning in Oceanside, CA on May 25th the team hopes to complete 150 miles a day, completing their grueling ride in Boston, MA by June 17th. Along the way other charity cyclists who hope to raise awareness for Endure to Cure’s Small Miracles program will join Sissel.

Endure to Cure Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2011 by Mr. Sissel. The idea of Endure to Cure was inspired by a conversation between Jason and his grandfather several months before he passed away in 2007. Although, Jason was enjoying a lucrative career on Wall Street, he felt inspired to pursue a higher calling. Choosing to leave his Wall Street career, Jason combined his grandfather's request to carry on his spirit after he passed away with his own love for children and passion for inspiring others, and founded Endure to Cure. Its goal is to inspire others to challenge their own physical limits to help raise funds primarily for the treatment and care of children fighting cancer. Sissel jokes, “I’m not an elite athlete, I don’t like to run, but I am motivated to complete brutal physical challenges for the kids, what I face is nothing compared to what they endure in their battle with cancer.” The 3600 Miles of Miracles Tour is just a part of what Sissel calls his “Endurance Campaign”, to date he has completed some of the world’s most grueling endurance events including the Ultraman World Championships, the Marathon des Sables (158 miles in the Sahara Desert) and numerous other events.
